Is gunk a good engine degreaser?

With engine running:

Carburetor: Spray to both ends of the choke valve shaft while working choke by hand. Spray down and around the carburetor throat to remove deposits from the throttle plate area. Do not spray down carburetor throat with engine off.

Directions for Use

Spray or brush on to the area to be cleaned. Leave for 2 minutes allowing Gunk Ultra to penetrate fully. Wipe off with a clean wet cloth or sponge. For heavy deposits a repeat application may be necessary and using a stiff brush to agitate will assist.
